Our body is like the soil we grow our food in. We need to give soil the right nutrients and water to grow the biggest veggies and the most beautiful flowers. Our bodies are the same, we need the right amount of nutrients for our body and mind to function properly, fight disease and help us to lead an active well balanced life.

About Jo Farina | Perth Food Coach

I grew up on a farm in country WA leading a very happy carefree lifestyle. I married a farmer and was fortunate enough to have raised three healthy sons on the farm in the same happy carefree lifestyle. Living on the farm meant no take away food, we cooked all our own meals made from fresh home grown produce.

10 years ago I moved to Perth and discovered how much take away and fast food some people consume. People half my age looked twice my age and had so many health issues. When talking to people about their diet I realised that so many people don’t know what a ‘healthy diet’ is. They follow whatever is told to them by the media but never bother to do any research on what is reported and if in fact what is being promoted is actually good for them.

I have always believed that natural foods promote healing and processed food cause a lot of illnesses, so I decided the only way I could help people to change their diet and way of thinking was to do some study and become better informed. I am now a qualified food coach and have so much more knowledge I would like to share with you.
